Over two enchanting nights, audiences were treated to a semi-staged concert version of this timeless opera, performed by a full-size symphony orchestra and sung in the original Italian. Madama Butterfly tells the poignant story of Cio-Cio San, a young Japanese girl whose love for American naval officer Pinkerton leads to heartbreaking consequences.
